Today, after reading this post your life will never be the same. This post is a beckoning call for you to come out of the shadows of the past and go after the new thing. What’s the new thing? The thing that God is calling you to do…The thing that you’re afraid to do…The thing that you don’t even know what to do or how to get started.

You know what I’m talking about. It’s the thing you’ve been trying to ignore, but your head won’t let you. It’s the fire inside you that you’ve tried to put out, but instead your heart fans the flame. It’s the ideas and creativity you think are too grand for you to accomplish, yet your hands long to be set to the task.

One look at our society today is evidence that your God-calling is needed. This means it’s time for you and I to stop hiding and get to work.

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. (Romans 8:19)

Upright citizens are good for a city and make it prosper, but the talk of the wicked tears it apart. (Proverbs 11:11)

When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan. (Proverbs 29:2)

A favorite movie of mine is The Legend of Bagger Vance. It’s a powerful movie that deals with finding the courage and character to step into being the person we were always meant to be. The clip below is where Junuh Rannulph(Matt Damon) can no longer hide from his calling–the promise on his life, yet he doesn’t know how to move forward.

“It’s time. Settle yourself. Let’s go.” -Bagger Vance

Not too many people like to go it alone. Most of us need some form of community and accountability to keep us moving forward. And, to put myself in the hot-seat,  the very thing I needed to give birth to I chose to carry way beyond its due date. So with my final push I give birth to the MTAB Community where like-minded Christian women will learn how to expand their reach and impact by integrating their ministry into their mission and finding new markets for their message.

Learn more about the MTAB Community and if it seems right for you join us. It’s free!
